First day of school at Indian Hills Elementary!! Allie loves school!
So I can't believe my baby officially started elementary school!! Where did the time go? She marched up to her locker, put her backpack in and basically ran into the classroom!! I am so glad she is excited for school, hopefully she will actually learn other than just socialize!!
So I totally admit I am a slacker AGAIN!! I need to post our Nashville trip and Allies' 5 th bday. I am just having a few computer problems and can't get everything to work just right. So....I really will post when everything is working right. :)
Yes, I am horrible at updating my blog! This is actually a shout out to my lovely friends Craig and Shannon. I had the experience to work a day shift on my birthday this year. Of course it was a "lovely" day on T10 as usual, but Craig and Shannon made it very enjoyable!! Shannon made a special trip in to deliver a cake and ballons!! Birthday plates and all!! Their daughter Bay, drew some very beautiful pictures on our white board to make the day complete!! Thanks so much for making my birthday tolerable!!!
Remember the song on Sesame Street "One of these things is not like the other"? Well my lovely daughter decided to have some fun with scissors. Check out her pig tails! Needless to say, she now has a lovely summer bob! Gotta love it! :)
We had a Melville family reunion in Fillmore the Saturday before Memorial Day. It was pretty crazy! All of my dad's cousins came with there kids and a few of my dad's siblings with there kids. Crazy! We toured the Territorial State House, ate, had two pinata's (I don't know how to spell) and played some games! Overall not too shabby! Apparently I only care about my kid, I don't have other pics!
I can't believe my baby is almost five! She has graduated from preschool for good! How does that happen? Well it is time to say good bye to Miss Sue, Allie has had two fun years there. Allie says she is a little sad but is getting excited for recess in kindergarten! Go figure! Allie talked her cousin Jesse into coming to her graduation which was nice so I didn't have to sit by myself! They sang songs, got their diploma's and of course played at the park!
Well my lovely cousin Kadee wanted a little escape before Mothers Day, so we went to Vegas! We thought it would be fun to take the kids, Allie and JD, to the Tournament of Kings, go swimming, and just plain chill! JD is a wild man in the pool!! That child has no fear whatsoever! Allie just liked sitting and jumping on the stairs while Jay knew he could swim, and no he can't, and was all over place. He made us a little nervous but he had a ball! JD also loved the horses at the show and sat mesmerized the entire show!! Allie on the other hand was traumatized thinking that the King really died and spent half the show in tears! When the King came out at the end she cheered like there was no tomorrow! It was pretty funny, yes I am a compassionate mom! :) It was just a fun trip!
We were lucky enough to go to California this year, the spotlight of course being Disneyland! We had a blast even though we looked a little silly- three adults and one child! Oh well, we all are kids at heart, right?!
Well, I have decided to officially take the plunge and blog. I can't promise I will deep it updated properly, but we will see. If people would quit leaving me for new jobs I wouldn't have to do this!! And yes, I am going to post old trips from this year so I don't look totally lame! :)
